We’re a non-profit Civil Association, registered in the public’s registers of Cusco, legally represented and we have 6 years of experience with children, teenagers and family’s mothers with poor economic means. Everything’s done under the direction of Psychologist, Dre Frida Salas Obregón.

We’re a small organisation who offers services for more than 120 kids of poor families, young adults and monoparental mothers.

We offer our help to more than 80 families and you project to increase this number to 200 families soon.

We founded this organisation in Cusco to improve the life’s condition of the persons in need and to offer them a safe place where to meet during the day.

General  Purpose

Contribute in the educative, recreative, social and cultural formation of the kids, teenagers and families living a hard situation.

Project’s description

We’re a small organisation who offers our services to more than 120 kids and teenagers, young adults and single mothers.

We offer our services to more than 80 families et we project to help more than 200 of them soon.

Location: Tambobamba A-1’s Association, San Sebastian’s Disctrict

Schedule: From Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Project’s location
The project is located at the top (marginal urban area) district of San Sebastian, about 40 minutes away (walking) from the plaza de armas of Cusco and 10 minutes by taxi.


The project belongs to the urban area called marginal Tambobamba Baja, adjacent to the VCT Kari Grande Salineras, Las Americas, Las Lomas. These housing associations have problems with water, do not have medical care, and many of its residents are humble people with great needs.
There are more than 600 families grouped together and each family is composed of a group of 6 to 8 people as a minimum.

Achievements

• Improve educational achievement, thanks to the support offered by the individual teacher Jessica and volunteers to children in the library.
• A better school and academic performance in children, teenagers and young people who take the course of English. This workshop has been conducted on a continuous basis throughout the year, with the support of volunteers.
• Improve the behavior of teenagers and young people, promoting mutual respect.
• Create small jobs for mothers who participate in the handicraft workshops, sewing and crafts.
• Create a toilet hygiene habit in children and adolescents on a permanent basis.
• The organization of children and adolescents to conduct activities such as crafts and support in the library, ludo teak and kitchen.
• The continued assistance of parents and children to the therapies and psychological support.
• Provide food to more than 70 children per day and 3 times per week.
